Principal Estates Coordinator
The Principal Estates Coordinator supports and deputises for the Estate Services Area Manager, ensuring that all estates are maintained to consistently high standards of cleanliness, safety, security, and overall presentation.
The postholder provides operational leadership across their designated area, overseeing the effective delivery of estate services including cleaning, grounds maintenance, communal repairs, estate enhancements, and resident engagement initiatives. They monitor service performance, address underperformance proactively, and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with service standards and Council policies.
The role includes direct supervision of a team of caretakers, with responsibility for workforce management, training and development, conduct, wellbeing, and health and safety compliance. The Principal Estates Coordinator monitors attendance and performance, supports employee development, and promotes a positive and accountable team culture.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and residents, the postholder ensures consistent, high-quality service delivery across their allocated patch while supporting continuous service improvement.
