Job Purpose

The PMO Analyst supports the successful delivery of engineering, planning, and surveying projects by providing project governance, reporting, planning, data analysis, and administrative support across the project portfolio.

The role ensures projects are delivered in line with council standards, timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements while promoting best practices in project management.

Responsibilities:

Provide project and programme governance support across multiple engineering and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring compliance with established PMO frameworks, policies, and reporting standards.

Deliver portfolio performance reporting through the production of management information, dashboards, milestone tracking, risk analysis, and progress updates for senior stakeholders.

Support planning and project controls activities by maintaining schedules, monitoring dependencies, tracking deliverables, and identifying potential impacts to programme timelines and objectives.

Facilitate effective risk, issue, and change management processes, ensuring actions are documented, monitored, and escalated appropriately to support successful project delivery.

Contribute to financial oversight activities through budget monitoring, forecasting support, resource tracking, and variance analysis across programme portfolios.

Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, planners, surveyors, and senior leadership teams to improve visibility of programme performance and drive continuous improvement within project delivery practices.
