Business Support Officer
Job Description:
Contract to start ASAP
Duration: 12 weeks with a possible extension.
Responsibilities:
To support in the administration and processing of Education Welfare Service penalty notices and other procedures connected to non-attendance or failing to secure a suitable education.
To support with portal systems for FPN's and PSP's and ensure trackers are up to date
To support in the administration and data processing of Local Authority support and monitoring of children who are electively home educated.
To maintain accurate databases of children who are open to EWS, EHE, missing in education (CME) and with Child employment licenses.
To maintain data systems and processes and extrapolate exclusion, attendance, licensing, restraint and training data for the Inclusion Manager as needed.
To work under the direction of the Inclusion Manager, liaising with members of the Inclusion team to oversee and organize all administrative tasks
To provide administrative support for the team and other service areas
To process child employment applications, chaperone and child performance licenses in accordance with legislation
To take minutes of meetings
To deal with incoming and outgoing mail
To receive and make phone calls with community members and schools. Identify concern and direct details to the appropriate manager/officer
To cover responsibilities of all aspects of the support work team, particularly when team members are absent from work
To assist with management and development of the ONE database
To develop, update and maintain electronic systems
To collate, interpret data as requested to provide management information for service managers
