Job Description:

Contract to start ASAP

Duration : 16 weeks with a possible extension.

Responsibilities

Provide interim leadership and co-ordinate the delivery of the Changing Futures Programme with responsibility for determining allocation of priorities and achieving the outcomes of the programme ensuring sustainability is central from inception

Provide programme and project management of the Changing Futures Programme ensuring that priorities are delivered on time and to budget, managing risks and issues

Build strong relationships and motivative stakeholders, particularly delivery partners to create a culture of proactive teamwork within a multi-disciplinary framework to drive outcomes

Use developed interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes / resolutions to very complex issues

Undertake engagement, needs analysis, scoping and mapping exercises, workshops etc to establish the priorities of the programme and the operational model in collaboration with stakeholders, people with lived experience etc

Develop and implement effective and robust governance for the Changing Futures Programme which leads to a longer-term governance for multiple disadvantage

Work with local and national stakeholders to implement mechanisms for co-production with those with lived experience ensuring this reflects the needs of those experiencing multiple disadvantage, including those with protected characteristics

Work with national evaluators of the programme and ensure local frameworks are in place to capture local priorities, including working with data analysts within the Council and with partners

Co-ordinate the monitoring, reporting and quality assurance of activity and outcomes, producing reports in a variety of formats, as required and meeting deadlines

Hold partners to account for delivery of the Changing Futures strategy and associated action plans, ensuring that progress and performance are routinely monitored

Manage programme delivery that develops sustainable local systems and approaches which improves outcomes for adults experiencing multiple disadvantage.

Ensure sustainable and innovative responses to multiple disadvantage are delivered which provides high quality services that influence, implement and deliver system change (e.g. joint commissioning approaches for multiple disadvantage)

Communicate with a wide range of audiences, including senior management and Elected Officials
