E-Procurement Admin Officer
Job Description:
Contract to start ASAP until 10-05-26 with a possible extension.
Job Purpose
To provide efficient and accurate administrative support for the Councils e-procurement systems, ensuring procurement processes are compliant, transparent, and operate smoothly in line with internal policies and public sector regulations.
Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the Councils e-procurement and purchasing systems.
Set up and manage suppliers, catalogues, and user accounts.
Process purchase orders, invoices, and requisitions accurately and promptly.
Support tendering and quotation processes through e-procurement platforms.
Ensure compliance with Contract Procedure Rules and procurement legislation.
Monitor system usage and resolve basic technical or process issues.
Provide guidance and support to staff on e-procurement procedures.
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and documentation.
Assist with data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring.
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding orders and payments.
