Case Manager - Tenancy and Estates
Job Description:
Contract to start ASAP
Duration: 6 weeks with a possible extension.
Job Purpose
The Case Manager – Tenancy and Estates is responsible for managing a caseload of tenancy and estate-related matters, ensuring residents receive high-quality housing management services.
The role supports tenancy sustainment, addresses breaches of tenancy, manages estate issues, and works collaboratively with residents, partners, and stakeholders to create safe, sustainable, and thriving communities.
Responsibilities
Tenancy Management
Manage a diverse caseload of tenancy-related issues from initial assessment through to resolution.
Provide advice and support to tenants regarding their rights, responsibilities, and tenancy agreements.
Investigate and resolve tenancy breaches, including anti-social behaviour, nuisance complaints, abandonment, and unauthorized occupation.
Support vulnerable residents to sustain their tenancies and access appropriate support services.
Conduct tenancy reviews, audits, and home visits as required.
Estate Management
Monitor and inspect council estates to identify environmental, health and safety, and maintenance issues.
Work with residents, contractors, and internal teams to improve estate standards and community wellbeing.
Coordinate actions to address estate management concerns, including fly-tipping, abandoned vehicles, communal area issues, and environmental complaints.
Ensure estates are maintained in accordance with council standards and relevant legislation.
Case Management
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records using housing management systems.
Prioritize and manage workloads effectively to meet service standards and performance targets.
Prepare reports, correspondence, notices, and legal documentation where required.
Monitor case progress and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are completed.
