Contract to start ASAP until 05-10-26 with a possible extension.

Job Purpose

The Housing Maintenance Administration Officer provides administrative support to the housing maintenance team, ensuring repairs, maintenance requests, and service operations are managed efficiently.

The role helps coordinate communication between tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure council housing is maintained to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the housing maintenance and repairs team.

Log and manage maintenance requests and repair jobs in the councils housing management system.

Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal departments regarding repair schedules and maintenance updates.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, invoices, and service reports.

Assist in scheduling repair works and monitoring completion of jobs.

Process documentation, reports, and correspondence related to housing maintenance.

Support compliance with health and safety regulations and housing standards.

Respond to tenant enquiries via phone, email, or internal systems.
