Duration: 26 weeks with a possible extension.
Job Purpose
The Programme Manager will lead the planning, delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of the Families First Programme.
The role is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of programme objectives, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and delivering outcomes that improve services for children, young people, and families.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Families First Programme, ensuring milestones, objectives, and benefits are achieved.
Develop and maintain programme plans, risk registers, governance documentation, and reporting mechanisms.
Manage programme budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure effective delivery.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, partner organisations, health providers, education, social care, and community stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local authority policies, statutory requirements, and programme governance frameworks.
Monitor programme performance using KPIs and provide regular updates to senior leadership and programme boards.
Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks, issues, and dependencies.
Support organisational change by developing and implementing change management and communication plans.
Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Lead workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and programme outcomes.
Ensure appropriate benefits realisation and evaluation throughout the programme lifecycle.
