Contract to start ASAP until 06-09-26 with a possible extension.

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for litter picking, toilet cleaning, emptying dog waste/litter bins, hand sweeping and assisting with cleansing and refuse/recycling, within the Torridge District Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Undertake hand sweeping, which may involve using a handcart.

Litter picking

Removal of dog waste

Toilet cleaning

Use of small mechanical sweeper

Assisting the mechanical sweeper by means of hand sweeping into the path of the mechanical sweeper

Working as part of a team and on a individual basis

Working to written schedules and on own initiative

Beach cleaning

Undertake the evening locking of public toilets

Any other duties inline with the grading of the post including refuse / recycling collection

The post will be primarily based at the Bideford Depot but will be required to work in the Torridge District area as required
