Job Purpose

A 12‑hour ESOL Employment Tutor for Haringey Learns delivers part‑time, targeted English language provision focused on improving learners' employability outcomes.

The role involves planning and teaching contextualised ESOL lessons that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills linked to work, job search, and progression into employment or further training.

The tutor supports diverse adult learners, including those facing barriers to work, and works collaboratively with employability partners such as Haringey Works to ensure provision aligns with local labour market needs, funding requirements, and agreed quality standards.
