Duration: 16 weeks with a possible extension.

Job Purpose

The Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling repairs, maintenance, servicing, and other property-related activities.

The role will ensure jobs are allocated efficiently to operatives and contractors, appointments are managed effectively, and customers receive a responsive and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate repairs, maintenance, inspections, servicing, and other property-related appointments.

Allocate jobs to appropriate operatives and contractors based on skills, location, availability, priority, and contractual requirements.

Manage daily schedules and make adjustments to accommodate emergencies, cancellations, delays, and changing priorities.

Contact customers to arrange suitable appointments and provide accurate information regarding planned works.

Monitor outstanding jobs and ensure work is progressed within agreed timescales and service standards.

Respond promptly to changes in operational requirements and reorganise schedules where necessary.

Liaise with repairs teams, contractors, housing officers, residents, and other stakeholders to coordinate works.

Ensure job details, appointments, notes, and completion information are accurately recorded on relevant systems.

Monitor contractor and operative performance against agreed targets and escalate issues where appropriate.

Identify scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, and potential delays and take appropriate corrective action.

Support emergency and urgent repair arrangements in accordance with relevant procedures.
