Job Purpose

Locum for Team Leader in Family Intervention

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced children's services leader with skills in the family help context.

We are looking for a leader or aspiring manager with the skills to line manage a team of intervention workers, triage and review new families and cases, oversee practice and performance, including effective implementation of the assess, plan and review cycle.

Supporting our teams to intervene with children and their families with a range of complex needs to prevent escalation to statutory children's social care intervention.

We are a large dynamic team and are looking for people with dynamic skills and experience across children's services.

We are a team of managers with a rich and varied professional heritage and welcome interest from a range of professionals with the relevant skills and experience.

You will be able to hit the ground running, contacting and engaging with staff teams, management teams, families, and multi-agency teams with informed consent, and offer oversight, leadership and decision making in relation to risk management, meeting children and families needs and progressing positive outcomes to reduce risk and need.

This position is available from as soon as possible until 31/7/2027 (this is a 12m opportunity)
