Contract to start ASAP

Duration: 12 weeks with a possible extension.

Job Purpose

The Family Support Worker role is responsible for screening and triaging referrals, assessing levels of need and risk, and coordinating appropriate support for vulnerable children and families.

This includes working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a joined-up approach.

The role involves direct communication with families, offering guidance and signposting to relevant early help services within Plymouth.

A key part of the role is identifying any risk factors and ensuring these are responded to appropriately.

Ongoing support will be provided to develop your knowledge and skills within the role.

You will also be required to complete requests for information from partner agencies in a timely and professional manner.
