Management Information Officer
Job Description:
Contract to start ASAP
Duration: 24 weeks with a possible extension.
Job Purpose
The Management Information Officer is responsible for collecting, analysing, maintaining, and reporting management information to support operational performance, strategic planning, and service improvement across the council.
The role ensures accurate data management, performance monitoring, and the production of high-quality reports to assist decision-making.
Responsibilities
Collect, validate, and maintain management information and performance data from various systems and departments.
Produce regular statistical reports, dashboards, and performance analysis for managers and senior leadership teams.
Monitor service performance indicators and identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
Support the development and maintenance of databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems
Draft high quality professional reports/PowerPoint slides based on a brief on a wide range of topics
In most cases, reports are data driven and therefore requires analytical skills
Articulate with ability to write in plain English
Effective time management, balance conflicting deadlines etc
