Job Description:

Contract to start ASAP until 18-09-26 with a possible extension.

Job Purpose

To support the Business Services Manager in the delivery of a comprehensive and efficient repairs service to customers.

To be responsible for overseeing and scheduling the workload of trades colleagues and/or contractors by allocating and organising work through the relevant processes to maximum efficiency of resources to meet defined key performance indicators.

Responsibilities:

Co-ordinating variable numbers of appointments/or works packages on a daily basis from start to finish ensuring these meet the directorate specific targets.

Daily diary scheduling for numerous trades colleague/contractors, producing supplementary documentation as required such as works specification orders.

To deal with all unavailable appointment periods by re-organisation of work to other trades colleagues/contractors and negotiation with tenants as required.

To monitor, maintain and update electronic/manual appointment diaries to ensure effective management of appointments and ensure target/timescales are met.

To deal, on a daily basis with emergency jobs, non-appointed tasks, variations, follow-on jobs, carded, cancelled an x suspended jobs, making sure relevant systems are updated.

To effectively plan, organise, allocate and alter appointments for trades colleagues/contractors through the appropriate process or system, reporting progress/performance to the line manager.

To run service delivery reports as and when required and highlight any operational failures.

To forward plan with the Repairs Service Manager, ensuring goods and services are ordered if required and the diaries and route maps are being used to their full potential.
